The starting point was simple: not everything should ask for attention at once. The scheme creates hierarchy by varying where illumination gathers and where it falls away. Architectural sources remain discreet where appropriate, while decorative pieces are given room to register as objects within the interior.
This balance between presence and restraint gives the residence its rhythm. Light reveals what matters, shadow creates separation, and neither is asked to do too much.
