Description

Watch a honeybee at work and you will see the patience of nature. Cell by cell, the hive grows into a perfect pattern. Hive is made with the same patience.
The shade is woven by hand from thin strips of bamboo, crossed again and again into small six-sided cells. It takes hours of steady weaving. One wrong strip and the pattern breaks, so our karigars work slowly and with care.
When the lamp glows, warm light slips through each tiny gap and spreads a soft net of light across your walls. It feels like sitting beside a lantern on a monsoon night.
A frame and base of solid wood hold the woven shade, simple and strong.
Every Hive carries the small marks of the hands that wove it. Look closely and you will see them. That is how you know a person made it for you.
