A sculpted body of solid Sheesham rises beneath a frosted glass globe, bringing the irregular movement of natural grain against the certainty of a perfect sphere. The wood is protected with a matte melamine finish, which keeps reflections quiet and lets the contour and grain remain present.
The craft is felt most clearly where the two forms meet. Too abrupt, and the globe would simply appear placed on top. Too soft, and the personality of the wood would disappear. Here, neither material is asked to imitate the other. Their difference is carefully preserved.
Then illumination changes the balance. The G9 source recedes behind frosted glass and the globe becomes an even volume of light. Below it, the Sheesham stays grounded and tactile, giving the brightness above a sense of weight and pause.
Luxora asks for more than a first glance.
Follow the grain upward, then return to the sphere. The pleasure is in discovering how two very different materials learn to belong together.
