Its character begins in the handwoven bamboo mesh. Each panel carries the slight variation of woven material, held within a slim wooden outer frame and arranged along a matte black steel structure. The craft is visible in the relationship between openness and support. The weave must remain light enough to breathe, yet composed enough to hold its form. Beneath it, the weighted metal base quietly does the opposite job, giving physical certainty to a silhouette that feels almost airborne.
When illuminated, the mesh becomes active. Light passes through the small intervals between fibres, then catches on overlapping layers, creating areas of brightness, softness and shadow that never feel mechanically uniform.
