At first, Floating Contour looks improbably simple. Then the eye begins to notice how much work that simplicity is hiding.

A long body of solid Sheesham is reduced to a controlled, suspended profile, with the natural grain left to give the surface its own moment. Inside, a precision-engineered aluminium channel carries the linear LED, while a frosted acrylic diffuser closes the underside into a clean plane. The craft is not ornamental. It lives in the alignment of materials, in the restraint of the section, and in how the technical parts are absorbed into the wooden form without disturbing its continuity.

Suspension adds another layer of tension. The wood has visual weight, yet the fine cables make it appear unexpectedly light. When switched on, the hidden source releases a measured band of downward illumination and the timber seems to become the edge from which light begins.
